Sometimes vampires just lose control, like during a Blood Moon. I had the pleasure of roleplaying a Blood Moon at Convergence: The Lost City a few months ago, and it provided an opportunity for vampire players to harness their inner monster for a little while. For those of us who prefer roleplaying the blood-suckers, we are familiar with the mask vampires wear so they’re not mass-hunted on sight. It’s what we roleplay 95% of the time, but when we get that 5% moment to just be blood-hungry savages? Priceless.
Convergence: The Lost City is closing after three phenomenal years of providing Second Life with a unique and cohesive roleplay experience. I want to personally thank Zekkiel Zerundi and Pryar Kirax for bringing the city to life and to all CV’s tireless staff for keeping the gears well-oiled and running. And lastly, to everyone with whom I had the pleasure of sharing stories, you have made Second Life a beautifully creative experience for my mind. Thank you!
THE NIGHTMARE EVENT IS OPEN! That is all. No. Seriously. That’s it. That’s all you need to know. ♥
“A long time ago, in the underground realm, where there are no lies or pain, there lived a Princess who dreamed of the human world. She dreamed of blue skies, soft breeze, and sunshine. One day, eluding her keepers, the Princess escaped. Once outside, the brightness blinded her and erased every trace of the past from her memory. She forgot who she was and where she came from. Her body suffered cold, sickness, and pain. Eventually, she died. However, her father, the King, always knew that the Princess’ soul would return, perhaps in another body, in another place, at another time. And he would wait for her, until he drew his last breath, until the world stopped turning…” from “Pan’s Labyrinth”
